Before You Drop Off
Do I need an appointment to drop off my watch?
No appointment is needed for drop-off during workshop hours. A written intake form is completed at the time of drop-off and you receive a copy noting the agreed scope and estimated return date.
What information do you need when I bring the watch in?
The brand, reference or model name (if known), and a brief description of what you'd like attended to. If the piece came with original papers or service history, bringing those along is helpful but not required.
How is the service fee determined?
Each service has a published starting price covering the standard scope. If inspection reveals additional work — a worn crystal, a corroded component — you are contacted before anything beyond the original agreement is carried out.
Can you source parts for older or less common models?
For bracelet and strap work, a range of components are held in stock. For movement parts on older or specialised pieces, sourcing timelines vary and are discussed during intake. We do not promise availability we cannot confirm.
How long does a full sports watch overhaul take?
The sports watch overhaul takes four to six weeks from intake. This covers movement service, case refinishing, gasket replacement, and a full timing check across positions before the piece is returned.
Is there anything you don't handle at the workshop?
The current services cover quartz movement care, bracelet and strap work, and modern sports watch overhauls. Antique pocket watches, complicated high-complication movements, and watches requiring rare proprietary tools are assessed case by case — get in touch to discuss.
